Showcasing Makerspace-made student projects at DemoDays in Twente
At January's DemoDays at the UT, second-year Creative Technology students presented their projects to the public. This event highlighted the co-creation and knowledge exchange between VU Amsterdam and the UT. Several projects started in Twente and were later further developed at the DLAB Makerspace in Amsterdam.
From a game designed to connect immigrants to a device helping students with ADHD concentrate and a real-time assistant for weightlifters to prevent injuries – students tackled diverse challenges. The DLAB Makerspace supported them with design optimisation, manufacturing and material selection.
During their visit, the group also visited the DesignLab and Smart XP, where Technical Managers exchanged insights on making the most of both Makerspaces.
