Security initiatives come together during session Secure Societies

The Secure Societies coalition looks back enthusiastically on its programme during the VU-UT working visit on 22 November. During a panel discussion with colleagues from different institutes in the field of security issues, the panel joined the audience in exploring joint research opportunities in security challenges such as earthquakes and disasters, ransomware attacks and a polarising society. There was also a 'getting to know each other' session in which participants were invited to ask each other questions around security (research). This led to an open dialogue, joint learning and a first exploration of potential research collaborations.
