Sven Askes has been an associate professor at the VU since September 2023. He was hired in the context of the collaboration between VU Amsterdam and UT for the bachelor's programme in Mechanical Engineering. Askes receives the grant for the HEATPULSE project. His research aims at challenging the traditional approach to using catalytic reactors in the chemical industry. Joris van Heijningen is an assistant professor at VU Amsterdam since November 2023. He is also hired in the context of the collaboration between VU Amsterdam and UT for the bachelor's programme in Mechanical Engineering.
