The four CreaTe-musketeers

In all the work currently being done and all the buzz generated, it is really time to introduce some of the people who have been hired by the UT to start teaching in Amsterdam in September. Maro, Jeroen, Pep and Andrea: four talented professionals with a lot of passion for teaching and in attitude and spirit a good match with CreaTe. So happy that they have joined the team! I would like to share some quotes from them.

Andrea: ‘I like the general atmosphere of CreaTe: It is vibrant, colourful, creative and productive. CreaTe people are not afraid to try out new things, learn, and discover. I would like to support them on their individual journeys and hope I can add my user-oriented  perspective to develop meaningful products.‘

Jeroen is a computer scientist fascinated by anything wirelessly connected and anything capable of sensing: ‘The CreaTe community embodies my vision of hands-on experience in education to develop out-of-the-box solutions in able to improve important societal problems.’

Marcello (Maro) is a researcher and designer in interactive media who is drawn to cross-disciplinary creative challenges: ‘In CreaTe, I have found my tribe of fellow explorers and role-defying professional unicorns, preparing for a world of exciting uncertainties.’

Pep is an electrical engineer with a broad research interest, spanning from fabrication to design: ‘I like that CreaTe lives up to its name by putting the emphasis on the making and testing of prototypes from the identification of core questions from users.’

So tell me: who doesn't envy CreaTe for being able to hire such great people? And next year, you can see them in full live action. And yes, there are more people to come for CreaTe...exciting!
