Overnight stays in Enschede for Mechanical Engineering

The campus of the University of Twente offers accommodation in 7 log cabins, located near the sports facilities. Each log cabin has room for 15 students.

It is possible that you share a log cabin with a group of students from another academic year or study programme. We cannot guarantee separate women's and men's log cabins, but we will do our best to meet the preferences. A sheet package (pillowcase and fitted sheet) is included in the price. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag/coverlet and towel. The heating in the cabins is provided only to keep the cabins frost-free in the winter.

All bathroom facilities are housed in a separate building about 25 meters from the log cabins. You have to arrange your own breakfast. There is a supermarket nearby. It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from the log cabin to campus building De Horst, where most of your lectures will be held.

There is a hotel on campus (U Parkhotel) and one across campus (Hotel De Broeierd). Feel free to make your own arrangements for these hotels. When booking a hotel, the regular hotel overnight costs must be paid directly to the hotel (so no intervention from the UT and no reduced rate). Note: if you book a room together with a fellow student, then your booking costs will be lower.

The buildings, where you will take your practicals and tutorials, are a ten-minute walk from both hotels.

Do not want to stay in the lodges or book a hotel on campus? You can, for example, look for an AirBnB in the city or spend the night with family or friends.
