Successful demo market Creative Technology
On 16 April, the combined demo market for Module 3 and Module 7 of the Creative Technology (CreaTe) Bachelor’s program took place in the foyer of the VU Main Building. These demo markets have become a valued tradition within the program. At the end of each module, students present the (often interactive) prototypes they’ve developed to fellow students and lecturers. Just like last year, parents, colleagues and external partners were also invited.
First-year students showcased their work from Module 3, themed Living and Working Tomorrow. In teams, they tackled real-world challenges submitted by external partner organisations. Second-year students demonstrated their projects from Module 7, where they applied the theory behind artificial intelligence to create tangible, physical prototypes within the theme Hands-on AI.
The event gave visitors an inspiring look into the innovative, hands-on teaching approach within CreaTe and ended with informal drinks, where everyone had the chance to chat and exchange ideas.
