Exploration of 'Industrial Engineering and Management' at VU Amsterdam

The UT and VU Amsterdam are exploring the possibilities for launching the joint bachelor's program in Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) at VU Amsterdam. The IEM program at the UT has been successful for many years. It is a technical course accessible to VWO students with Mathematics B in their profile. The program combines engineering with business administration, and graduates work on designing, analysing and managing operations and systems for production and services. In this role, they act as a bridge between ideas and practice, creating value for businesses and society.

For the new program, efforts are being made to clearly position it within VU Amsterdam School of Business and Economics. It is important for prospective students to understand that this joint program at VU Amsterdam leads to a degree from the UT.
