The four CreaTe musketeers
With all the work currently underway and the buzz that's been created, it's really time to introduce some of the people hired by the UT to teach in Amsterdam from September. Maro, Jeroen, Pep and Andrea: four talented professionals with a passion for teaching and a great fit for CreaTe in terms of attitude and spirit. We’re so happy to have them join the team! I’d like to share some quotes from them.
Andrea: “I love the overall vibe of CreaTe: It’s vibrant, colourful, creative, and productive. CreaTe'ers aren’t afraid to try new things, learn, and discover. I’m excited to support them on their individual journeys and hope to bring my user-centered perspective to help develop meaningful products.”
Jeroen is a computer scientist who is fascinated by anything wirelessly connected and everything that can sense. "The Creative Technology community embodies my vision of hands-on experience in education to develop out-of-the-box solutions to improve significant societal issues."
Marcello (‘Maro’) is an interactive media researcher and designer drawn to interdisciplinary creative challenges. “In CreaTe, I’ve found my tribe of fellow explorers and role-defying professional unicorns preparing for a world full of exciting uncertainties.”
Pep is an electrical engineer with a broad research interest, ranging from manufacturing to design. “I love that CreaTe lives up to its name by focusing on making and testing prototypes based on identifying users’ core questions.”
Honestly, who wouldn't envy CreaTe for having such amazing people on board? Next year, you’ll be able to see them in action. And yes, more people are joining CreaTe... exciting times ahead!
