The collaboration between VU Amsterdam and the UT has increasingly taken shape during 2022. Together, we have made some firm steps. On the eve of 2023, we would like to take a brief look back.
The first graduation ceremony of the bachelor Mechanical Engineering@VU, the formal permission for a branch of the bachelor Creative Technology@VU, more than 25 groups of researchers working together within the coalitions, the monthly newsletter that saw the light in January, the interface connecting the education administrations, a new governance for the collaboration and two cheerful and inspiring meetings among all colleagues in Amsterdam and in Enschede. It was a dynamic and exciting year.
2023 will also be worthwhile. In January, a second internal call will follow, offering opportunities for new joint research, and in September the bachelor Creative Technology@VU and the joint master track Personalized Medicine will start at the Faculty of Medicine of VU Amsterdam. In this way, our common ambitions are becoming more and more tangible.
For now, we wish you all a cosy time under the Christmas tree: enjoy your family, friends and hopefully a bit of peace and quiet. Look forward to seeing you in 2023.
